Kaagaz ke Parinde is an observational documentary film made by Ashika Miriyam and Nadia Shah. This film was shot in Acharpura, a rural village in the outskirts of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. We took our cameras and followed a didi to her house inside the village to find her children playing with paper planes. We recorded everything while they were playing in real time and later at the editing table came up with the narrative and storyline.
